Smoked Mackerel & Yoghurt Smash on Toast

It ticks all the boxes for energy, brain power, and gut health—without keeping you stuck in the kitchen!

Ingredients

½ smoked mackerel fillet
1 dollop Greek yoghurt
squeeze of lemon
handful of chopped spinach
crack of black pepper
1 slice seeded sourdough or rye

Toppings:
chopped nuts & seeds for crunch
drizzle of extra virgin olive oil


Method

  1. Mash everything together.

  2. Pile it on your toast.

  3. Sprinkle with nuts & seeds.

  4. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

  5. Devour!
